Ignition is achieved by a firm depressing of the trigger on the top of the lighter which pushes the cover over the flame back and allows ignition. The adjustment mechanism and filling valve are underneath.
A lighter that fits neatly into a pocket or hand bag, hold a decent amount of butane gas and is suitable for lighting cigarettes or small cigars. We don't recommend any Jet flame lighters for use on a pipe as the flame can be too vigorous.
