West Tampa Tobacco Co.

Founded in March 2023 by Rick Rodriguez former chief blender at CAO.

His grandparents  left Cuba after the revolution and like many Cubans had gone to Tampa Florida where they found work as mastewr rollers in Ybor, West Tampa.

Rick was intrigued by his grandpartents stories and immerded himself in the industry learning wherever he could, eventually becoming a master blender ( he couldn't roll a stick for toffee though).

Today the company has a factory (Garmendia Cigars Co.)  in Esteli, Nicaragua and deals with 25 countries, Rick is focused on creating blends he enjoys himself which he knows will be popular with his followers.
