Introducing the Peterson Plateau range of briar smoking pipes. This handmade bespoke pipe doesn't fit any shape charts or product codes, they are completely unique with only a small few set of carvers that can create such a masterpiece. Each Plateau pipe is created from a solid briar block without any design hence why only a select few can create such pipes. A briar block is cut from the burl which gives the finest quality briar and a spectacular grain pattern. The burl is the outside part of the briar root.
Freehand pipes are suited to those who prefer a larger smoking chamber due to the size of the briar block that they are cut from. As freehand pipes tend to be on the larger size they are much better for heat resistance as the briar is much thicker.
The Plateau range is finished in a charming brown stain which highlights the light and dark sections of the rich grain around the pipe. Paired with Peterson's signature fishtail stem it allows the user to easily grip with their teeth along with adding elegance to overall look.
The Plateau collection is very limited in availability due to the lack of the finest briar wood along with the skilled craftsmen to bring the vision to life.
This pipe is sent in a Peterson cloth bag along with a gift box.
