D40 by Century is a delightful Vanilla aromatic of Burley, Cavendish, and Virginia with a minute amount of Black Cavendish. It’s sweet smelling and sugary tasting. This ribbon-cut tobacco can be put straight into a pipe and smoked, without needing to dry it or rub out further. Vanilla dominates the beginning of the smoke, it’s pleasant and begins to give way as you smoke further. Nearer the end of a bowl, you can taste the tobaccos, being able to distinguish the grassy citrus Virginia, the nutty Burley, and brown sugar of the Cavendish.
