Sean Reum produces these artisan pipes from his workshop near Flathead lake in North West Montana U.S.A.
A self-taught pipe maker his briar pipes are one-off pieces. Sean's ability to take a block of briar and turn it into something of beauty is evident from the work he has already produced. We are proud to be associated with him and being able to let more pipe smokers enjoy these wonderful smoking sculptures.
About this pipe ......
This chipblast egg pipe isn't a shape you see every day. The unusual shape is comfortable in the hand and the finish is very tactile. Put down carefully this pipe is a sitter but will tip easily if not picked up carefully. The short coloured mouthpiece blends well with the tan finish and the whole thing is nicely proportioned, with a bowl depth of 40mm and a diameter of 18mm. This pipe may not be everyone's cup of tea but the workmanship cannot be faulted and yes, it's unique.
