The Savinelli Siena smooth 9mm filter pipe uses only top quality briar, and is a joy to behold.
The 616 is a very nice bent Billiard shape that fits the hand beautifully and holds a decent amount of tobacco.. This pipe sports no frills, there's no eye candy with the band, because there isn't one.
The pipe has an acrylic black fishtail mouthpiece which incorporates a 9mm balsa filter. It's beauty lies in its simplicity, good grain, polished and expertly stained to show it and that's all that needed.
If you want plain, simple and top quality briar in a pipe, then look no further. This will smoke like a dream.
The pipe is sold with one 9mm balsa filter fitted, it also has a 9mm active charcoal filter in the box. Please note there is no plastic converter to reduce the bore

Achille Savinelli Sr. opened one of the first shops in the world selling exclusively smoking accessories and briar pipes in 1876. It wasn't until 1920 the first Savinelli briar pipes were branded and produced in the Varese province.
