The black acrylic stem has two silver bands that add a touch of extra class to this Savinelli Monsieur collection
This Savinelli Monsieur Brown Sandblast Briar Pipe uses a unique 9mm filter system. In the shank/stem a bore of 9mm is drilled, in which a triangular piece of balsa wood is placed. This lightweight piece of wood (extremely porous) absorbs tar and nicotine from the smoke.

History...
Achille Savinelli Sr. opened one of the first shops in the world selling exclusively smoking accessories and briar pipes in 1876. It wasn't until 1920 the first Savinelli briar pipes were branded and produced in the Varese province.
