Savinelli Lollo Black (Nera) Sandblast 01 - 6mm Briar Pipe
A lovely little nose warmer from Savinelli that first appeared in the 60s and is now offered for sale again. Small, compact, and just right to slip into a jacket pocket with a bowl big enough to allow a 30-minute smoke.
The black sandblast finish gives the pipe an elegant look, there is a narrow brass band separating the stem from the shank with a short saddle mouthpiece.
The nice broad shank makes this a "sitter" and also makes it easier to hold.

History...
Achille Savinelli Sr. opened one of the first shops in the world selling exclusively smoking accessories and briar pipes in 1876. It wasn't until 1920 the first Savinelli briar pipes were branded and produced in the Varese province.
