Rattray's Bagpiper's Dream is an exploration of texture as much as it is of taste.
It's a fruity aromatic cognac loaded blend of Black Cavendish and Virginia tobacco that stands out because the mixture is a combination of ribbon, ready rubbed, flake, curly and plug bits.
It's wonderfully tactile as well as visually appealing. If this is what bagpipers dream of, then they sleep soundly!
The mixture may be rubbed further, to your own preference, to get it in your pipe. It lights easily and burns long and cool, mainly because of the varied cuts and gives a lovely rich smoke full of grassy citrus flavours and sweet cognac topping.
