Quai D'Orsay No 54 Cuban Cigar - Single
This brand first appeared in 1974 and was aimed primarily at the French market following an enquiry by the then French Minister of Finance, Valéry Giscard d’Estaing, to Seita, the organisation importing Cuban cigars into France.
They, in turn, made enquiries in Cuba, and voilà, a new brand was born. It's named after the wharf along side the Seine where Seita was headquartered.
The brand remained relatively unknown outside of France until it was relaunched in 2017 at the Habanos Festival in Havana, Cuba.
Two new sizes were added, the band was redesigned, and it was announced that a new Edicion Regional, the Secreto, was planned.
Today, the brand is more widely known following the release of more Regional Editions. The No 54 is 5 1/3" long with a ring gauge of 54 and is now part of the brand with global exposure.
Handmde with long filler leaves and classified as Light flavoured you can expect a smoking time between 55 and 70 minutes depending on your style.
