Twelve Drummers Drumming - Charatan Royal Ensign Mixture
A traditional English blend comprising of choice Virginias, Oriental leaf and some fine Latakia, the mixture is balanced well. It delivers darker Virginia traits; Prune with an almost nutty touch, which coalesce with the woody, mildly spicy and smoky Latakia on a backdrop of Oriental dryness. It has a mild spiciness to begin and a smoothness towards the end of the bowl.
Eleven Pipers piping - Robert McConnell Glen Piper
Glen Piper is a sweet, chocolaty, alcoholic and fruity aromatic blend of Black Cavendish, Kentucky, Perique and ubiquitous Virginia. The flavours make this something of a reserve blend, for occasions when a sweet spiced fruit cake is wanted. Mild, mellow and quite moreish. The Virginia leaf has been hot pressed and flavoured over several days, cut, hand rubbed and blended with the other components, so this is mellow and aromatic.
Ten Lords a-leaping - Rattray's Tower Bridge
An aromatic blend that's mild and cool smoking. Black cavendish blended with red and golden Virginias, top-dressed with tropical fruits, vanilla, and rum. Sweet and nutty, this medium strength blend with an average nicotine content, would make an ideal all day blend.
Nine Ladies dancing - Cornell & Diehl Opening night
Red and Bright Virginias blended and then slowly steamed and pressed to produce a sweet smelling broken flake. Light up and enjoy this pleasant cool smoking medium strength blend. Great for beginners and the established pipe smoker.
Eight Maids a-milking - Comoy's Cornish Mixture
Comoy's Cornish Mixture is, at heart, an aromatic type pipe tobacco but don't let that sway your opinions of this tasty treat; its flavours are natural. The addition of cinnamon, chocolate and clove mingle effortlessly with the Burley, Cavendish and Virginias to give a warming, gentle likeness to a spiced teacake. There are aromas of raisin, sweet fruity bread dough and just a hint of cocoa.
Seven Swans a-swimming - Cornell & Diehl Sunday Picnic
Sweet Golden Virginias and peppery Louisiana Perique along with earthy herbal Turkish leaf are pressed and steamed to produce a medium strength flake. However you choose to pack your pipe, the grassy sweetness of the Virginia, combined with the unique flavour of the Perique and Turkish elements, make for a great all day smoke.
Six Geese a-laying - Peterson Early Morning
This pipe tobacco has been waking up the palates of pipe smokers around the world for well over half a century!Peterson Early Morning Pipe is Latakia, Oriental and Virginia, blended to suit the morning when you're sipping your first warm drink of the day. You're given a gentle waking up with mildly sweet Virginia, slightly dry, woody Orientals and an undertone of smoky wood from the Latakia.
Five gold rings - Robert McConnell Highgate
Discs of pressed Virginias with Perique and Black Cavendish cut into coin size pieces and perfect for a little rubbing out before loading into your favourite pipe. The natural sweetness of the Virginias is complimented by the unmistakable characteristics of Perique mixed with the Black Cavendish for mellowness. Easy, uncomplicated smoking, that could become an everyday blend.
Four Calling Birds - Kopp Caribbean Blue - Drake
A blend of Brown and Black Cavendish blended with sweet Virginia and top dressed with pineapple, banana, and Madagascar vanilla. The result is an easy smoking and wonderfully aromatic blend that will suit a wide variety of pipesmokers, especially those new to the hobby.
Three French Hens - Cornell & Diehl Briar Fox
A great blend of Burley & Red Virginias pressed into a crumble cake that can be easily broken into smaller pieces tat don't require too much rubbing out. Natural flavours are the order of the day, no fancy dressings, just a natural sweetness from the Virginia and a little nuttiness from the Burley. A pleasant all day blend, medium in strength and easy smoking.
Two Turtle Doves - Wilsons Majestic
The flavourful aromatic has vanilla and cocoa essences at its heart. The blend starts with Black Cavendish, robust African Dark Fired with its rich aroma then joins the party. To round things off the blend also has some South American Virginia tobaccos with their high sugar content and grassy aroma. A mild to medium bodied aromatic mixture that has a wonderful aroma and will appeal to veterans and beginners alike.
A Partridge In A Pair Tree - Gawith Hoggarth Sweet Peach
A blend of mature sweet Virginias, Burley and Cavendish tobaccos flavoured with sweet punchy peach. The taste comes through in delightful waves and does not overpower the base tobacco. They mingle and meld to give a rich gustatory sensation which satisfies the smoker.
