The Flores Y Rodriguez 10th Anniversary Robusto is a medium to full bodied Cigar celebrating ten years of PDR making fine cigars.
If you are looking for a well-balanced smoke that offers smooth creamy flavours without the strength becoming a problem, then you need to try this cigar.
It starts with a Cuban Seed Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, silky, very smooth and full of natural oils. Aromatic with notes of pepper, cedar and leather, it’s a great beginning.
The binder comes from the Cibao valley in the Dominican Republic, chosen for several key qualities, it’s aromatic, smooth burning and compliments the filler leaf.
The filler is Dominican Pilato Cubano and Nicaraguan Jalapa valley leaf, both known for having full and bold smoking characteristics. Once again the old Cuban tubing method of rolling has been used.
This 10th Anniversary Robusto cigar measures 5” x 52 ring gauge and should take from 45-60 minutes to enjoy, depending on your smoking style. The construction is perfect, the burn is even.
Light up and experience the creamy, rich and earthy smoke accompanied by notes of wood and leather with some espresso, spice and cedar thrown in, all mixing beautifully. The profile changes as the cigar progresses, and the pepper and spice become bolder, along with leather notes, it's fair to say the flavour keeps evolving right to the end.
