Something very special from Rocky Patel!
Catering to the global market was Rocky's vision for the Grand Reserve Robusto, and that's exactly what he's done.
He's not revealing the blend but confirms it's rolled in Nicaragua, at the Tavicusa factory, and aged for two years.
Rumour has it the wrapper is from Honduras while the binder is Nicaraguan and the filler a combination of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaf, but that's a guess.
In this creamy Cigar there is an abundance of flavours and aromas. A sweetness of dried fruit and chocolate is counteracted by a slight bitterness of green tea, we also get leather, woody and nutty flavours and a bit spice, the result is a fantastic smoke.
Rocky has dug deep into his tobacco rooms and found some of his best tobaccos for this blend and it really shows.
It's medium to full in strength and a definite masterpiece.
