Product Description
The El Criollito range from boutique brand PDR cigars is truly amazing. Owner and master blender Abe Flores has created a blend with a great flavour profile that reflects the traditional Cuban "Entubado" method of rolling.
Each leaf is rolled individually before being bunched and wrapped in a binder. It improves airflow, allows a more even burn and delivers a better flavour.
Beautifully presented in a classy travel friendly cedar lined aluminium tube, this medium strength and medium bodied cigar measures 4 1/2" and has a 58 ring gauge and you can expect between 40 and 60 minutes of pleasure, depending on your style.
The wrapper is from Ecuador, it's a 98 Criollo Cuban Seed Hybrid leaf that gives a great start to the cigar.The binder is a Mexican San Andres leaf, a safe choice that adds flavour, finally the filler which is made up of Dominican and Nicaraguan Criollo '98.
Once lit the blend characteristics get to work and show their great smoking qualities. Notes of cedar mingle with white pepper and nuts, some earthiness is apparent along with a touch of spice and natural sweetness. Nothing takes charge, it all mixes beautifully without getting too strong towards the end.
