Gawith Hoggarth | Bobs Flake (Chocolate) Pipe Tobacco | 25g Loose

Introducing Gawith Hoggarth's Bob's (Chocolate) Flake, a more savoury smoke than you might first expect. Well presented brown flakes with flecks of gold and seams of black, this tobacco surprisingly contains Latakia. The aroma of cocoa and molasses, with the scent of Virginia's grassy sweetness welcome you to begin the preparation for what will truly be a treat. Rubbing this blend is easy and releases more of the rich aroma, encouraging you to fill your pipe.

Upon first light, the flavours of milk chocolate are present, creamy sweet and melting in the mouth. This initial taste evolves as you progress through the pipe and starts to become that of a dark chocolate, rich, fruity, nutty and ever so slightly floral. The balance of tobacco flavours is just right and the chocolate topping allows them through, blending with them. The tobacco burns long and thoroughly, leaving a dry grey ash.
