Based in the mountains around San José, Costa Rica the company prides itself on cultivating quality tobacco leaf without the use of pesticides. Fermented for up to two years, they then age it anywhere from 7-10 years to produce a smoother smoking experience. Today the company boasts a myriad of blends in several different collections, each with different characteristics.
The Gilgamesh Collection honours Mesopotamian mythology , and the tale of the legendary Sumerian/Assyrian King of Uruk, Gilgamesh, and Shamesh, the god of the sun, truth and justice who aided Gilgamesh .The Sable Shamesh is a nod to the power, history and ancient wisdom of Mesopotamian mythology.
The Gilgamesh Sable Shamash is a full bodied Toro Cigar that delivers a rich, smooth and complex smoke. Measuring 6 inches with a 50-ring gauge, it is expertly hand-rolled using a blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican and Honduran tobaccos.
From the first draw, you'll enjoy notes of cedar, vanilla and almond, followed by layers of dark chocolate, coffee and gentle spice. Hints of earth, leather and sweet tobacco develop throughout. With its oily wrapper, this is a good looking cigar, you can see and feel the quality of this cigar, the burn is even and the construction is perfect.
