The M81 is the result of a collaboration between James Hetfield, co-founder of Metallica; Rob Dietrich, Master Distiller of BLACKENED American Whiskey; and Jonathan Drew, Founder and President of Drew Estate.
The “M81” name is a nod to Metallica’s founding year, together they created a blend that was loud, bold and rich in content, just like a good rock song.
A Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, with a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro binder, and a filler blend of Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania Broadleaf maduro tobaccos is the DNA. The blend includes the boldest Pennsylvania Broadleaf ligero in Drew Estate’s inventory.
This all maduro blend offers an intense, satisfying smoke with notes of espresso, leather, dark chocolate and pepper. A small cigar with a big character.
