Design Berlin are a well respected German pipe maker with roots dating back to 1948 with a reputation for producing beautiful, unique high quality briar pipes that mix traditional Danish influenced pipe making with German precision and design.
The results are some fantastic looking lines with quite unique shapes.
Realeased in 2026 the Baltic Sea range offer amazing value for money for such a high end looking briar pipe. The briar has a beautiful grain which is given a high polish finish, a good looking black acrylic mouthpiece is separated by an army style metal mount which gives the pipe a classy look.
The Baltic Sea DBP031 is a straight shape with quite a short shank that has a familiar look to it, a shape you have seen before but you can’t quite put your finger on where. An apple shape bowl that is a good size and holds a good amount of tobacco gives the pipe a well proportioned look. This pipe takes a 9mm Filter.
A stunning line of pipes that offer fantastic quality and looks at a very reasonable price.
