The blend is built around tobacco grown in the unique red soil of the Yamasa region in the Dominican Republic, a project that took Davidoff over 20 years to perfect.
The Yamasa Habano wrapper has a deep, rich colour with an oily sheen that hints at the cigar’s bold character. Underneath, a Dominican San Vicente binder keeps the burn even and steady, while the mix of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers gives the cigar its layered, complex flavour profile.
Right from the first puff, the Cigar delivers earthy, mineral rich notes with touches of black pepper and cedar. As it opens up, flavours of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and leather come through, supported by a gentle dried fruit sweetness. In the final third, the cigar gains intensity, bringing in hints of nutmeg, oak, and a long, spicy finish.
