The Davidoff 2025 Chefs Edition is a limited cigar created with help from top chefs, built around the idea of a “fine dining” style smoke. The goal was to make a cigar that feels as carefully put together as a high end dish, balanced, layered and enjoyable from the first draw to the last. And Davidoff have really hit the nail on the head.
The cigar comes in a Toro size, giving you a long, steady smoke of around 60-90 minutes. It starts with a light pepper touch and some creamy sweetness. As it opens up, you get gentle floral and citrus notes, along with some rosewood and soft leather. Near the end, the flavours deepen into spice, oak and a bit of coffee, staying smooth all the way through.
The blend uses specially aged Dominican tobaccos, including 15-year Dominican San Vicente, Dominican hybrid, and Piloto aged 5 years in natural Palm/Yagua leaves, which makes the smoke even smoother and adds extra character.
The box keeps the cooking theme going. It’s made of wood with a marble-style top that looks like a chef’s cutting board. The overall look is clean, modern and of a high quality.
Overall, the 2025 Chefs Edition is a medium strength cigar that focuses on balance and flavour layers something you can enjoy slowly, the same way you would appreciate a well made dish.
