Charatan Royal Ensign is a traditional English blend comprising of choice Virginias, Oriental leaf and some fine Latakia, the mixture is balanced well. It delivers darker Virginia traits; Prune with an almost nutty touch, which coalesce with the woody, mildly spicy and smoky Latakia on a backdrop of Oriental dryness. This friendly tobacco behaves while preparing to smoke and lights with a few touches of flame. It has a mild spiciness to begin and a smoothness towards the end of the bowl, your senses are never overloaded. You may enjoy this tobacco several times a day, or as a break from heavier Latakia blends. Its easy to appreciate and wont let you down.
