Single |J.& H. Wilson Top Mill No 1 Snuff| 5g Tap Tin
With its origins dating back to as early as 1746 the business was moved by Joseph & Henry Wilson to Westbrook Mill in 1833. Incorporated in May 1895 it remained in the hands of the Wilson Family until acquired by Ogdens of Liverpool (part of the Imperial Tobacco Group) until 1953.
Production at Westbrook Mill ceased in 1962 and was moved to Ogden's Boundary Lane factory (now demolished) in Liverpool.
Today production is handled by Macbarens of Denmark.
Finely ground and very popular the characteristics are similar to S.P. no1 but with a touch of citrus zest.
