Erik Nording is a passionate pipe maker who has probably produced more freehand pipes than any other pipe-maker. Erik Nording uses plateau wood for these freehand pipes, the outer part of the briar block when you find the most beautiful texture and appearance of the wood. He tries as much as possible to follow the grain making creative choices while dealing with natural defects within the wood
