Founded in 1926 by Maurits Vandermarliere production soon became too much for the little attic above his shop. In 1936 he opened a small factory in nearby Heestert and that was just the start.
Today this little one-man operation has grown into a multi-million-pound operation spread around the world employing thousands of people producing many well-known cigar brands.
